Features & Applications

Water Decoloring Agent is a quaternary ammonium cationic copolymer, it's dicyandiamideformaldehyde resin. It has excellent efficiency in decoloring, flocculating, and COD removal.

  • Mainly used to decolor the effluent with high colority from dyestuff plants, suitable for waste water with activated, acidic and disperse dyestuffs
  • Effective for treating waste water from textile industry, dye houses, pigment industry, printing ink industry and paper industry
  • Can be used in paper & pulp production as retention agent

Application Method and Notes
  • Dilute with 10-40 times water, then add to wastewater directly. After stirring, clear water can be obtained by precipitation or air-floatation
  • Optimized pH of wastewater should be 6-10
  • Recommended to use with inorganic flocculants for high color/COD effluent to reduce operation cost
  • May show layer separation at low temperature - mixing restores effectiveness
